Family Reading at E.B. Devesinha: A Creative Adventure

As part of the eTwinning project “Stories to Play”, E.B. Devesinha promoted a special “Family Storytelling” activity. Student C.F. (class B) invited her uncle to read, with her, the book “The Story of a Button”, written by Maria João Carvalho and illustrated by Fátima Afonso. This activity took place in the School Library and was attended by the eTwinners classes from 1st A and 2nd B. All the students listened attentively to the adventures of a round button that was initially locked inside a sewing box, but dreamed of jumping out and seeing the world. One day, the box opened and the button's dream began to come true, and he ended up living a happy life... At the end, C.F. thanked her uncle by reading a poem by Fernando Pessoa, written on a small card to give him. In the classroom, student C.F. challenged her classmates to create stories based on a button glued to a blank sheet of paper, resulting in very creative drawings and oral narratives. Cinema Session at Devesinha School

As part of the eTwinning Projects “Stories to Play”, all classes participated in the “Cinema Session at Devesinha School”. We watched and reflected on the information and main message of the film “LORAX”, which highlights the importance of protecting the Environment, highlighting the devastation caused by the uncontrolled exploitation of natural resources and the urgency of promoting the sustainability of biodiversity on Planet Earth. At the end, we were treated to delicious popcorn, made at school. It was a day in which we learned a lot, through the “Seventh Art”...

A Magic and Comedy Show Delights Students from the Devesinha School!...

The students from the Devesinha School were treated to the show "André, the Magician". In this interactive children's theater experience, the children were not only spectators, but also protagonists. André, the Magician, presented a show with a visual and musical opening... The children were encouraged to participate in the magic acts and to interact, making the experience even more fun and memorable. This show by the Magician André was dynamic and engaging, becoming a unique and special experience for all the children and adults present, encouraging imagination and active participation. Our friend and birthday boy D.P. (2.⁰ B) was overjoyed to see all his school friends happy, excited and laughing. We thank D.P. and his parents for the opportunity to watch and be part of this unforgettable theater! With shared and happy moments, we are building the story of each and every one of us!...

Reading promotes moments of creativity and sharing!...

A group of students from the 4.⁰ D class presented a puppet show inspired by the book “Abecedário Maluco” by Luísa Ducla Soares to all the students in the school, with the aim of promoting a taste for reading. In this creative way, they aroused the interest of all their classmates and teachers, demonstrating that reading creates moments of sharing and motivates imagination and learning. A peça “Hoje não tem circo!” divertiu todas as crianças!

Os Alunos das escolas de Vizela, no âmbito da celebração do “Dia Mundial da Criança”, assistiram ao espetáculo “Hoje Não Há Circo!”, organizado pela Câmara Municipal e apresentado pelo grupo artístico “Homens da Lua”, no Parque das Termas de Vizela. Foi um espetáculo divertido que encantou todas as crianças presentes, em especial os alunos das turmas 1.º A, 2.º B (EB Devesinha) e 4.º H (EB Enxertos), que se divertiram muito!
